Christmas Craftwork and Baking.

Well done to all who took part in the Christmas play last week.  It certainly was an enjoyable evening.

This week has been pretty hectic for all in the junior room with lots of art and craft ideas and baking.

Later on in the week we swapped places with the senior classes.  Pictured below you can see the wonderful display pieces that they made.

Elves on Strike !!!!

Hi Ho, Hi Ho, it's off to work we go - or  is it?

The story tells of how Santa is faced with a dilemma when the elves down tools and refuse to work.
Can this be solved before Christmas Eve?

Book of the Week

This book really went down a treat in our Junior Room.

The children tell about the adventures of Sarah, Percy and Bill through their art work

This and other books by the same author can be taken out on loan from our library each Wednesday.It is important that you encourage your child to read on a regular basis. It is important too to encourage your child to develop good habits and to take responsibility to return their library book on Wednesday leading to independence. 

If you have any suitable books in good condition that you would like to donate to our library, they would certainly be put to good use by our hungry book worms!

A big welcome back to everyone in the Junior Classes!  This year we are Junior Infants, Senior Infants and First Class – 28 pupils in all.  We are so lucky to have Anne as our S.N.A. again this year. 

We feel very special this year with a set of twins and a set if triplets in the classroom!

We look forward to a year of filled with fun, friendship and learning.
