New School Year New Classes

This year we have 3 classes in our classroom. We are now Junior Infants, Senior Infants and First Class - 22 of us in all. We are back in our lovely big room, which is great because there is a big bunch of us!

We are continuing to use our Outdoor Classroom for Aistear and on a rainy day we have our play/leaning time indoors.

We are glad to be back

Our Christmas Wreaths

Junior and Senior Infants have been busy building our fine motor skills. We tore green and red crepe paper and bundled them into a ball then glued them onto a paper plate. Ms Nolan gave each of us a red bow to finish them off. They look really festive.

Post Office in St Thomas National School

For the next few weeks we are going to learn about the Post Office.  Today we learned about the Journey of a Letter and all the items that can be bought in a Post Office - stamps, envelopes, dog licences, TV licences. We can also get passport forms and pay bills. We then played outside at Aistear. It was really good fun.
